Hello friends! We’ve been a bit slow on our progress lately with our loft project, mostly due to being so very busy since the holidays and trying to get back into the groove of things. We’ve also expanded and made some changes to our business, which has taken up quite a bit of time. Thankfully we are moving along again now.
We were extremely happy to see this little post on Facebook this morning in the minutes from the City Commissioners’ meeting last night:
This is really a big deal for us and for others in the city of Henderson, Kentucky. Brad Staton, one of the City Commissioners commented on the post, “Thank you for taking on a project to help improve our Central Business District. We are certainly headed in the right direction thanks to the hard work of people like you and your family.” Thank you Brad Staton! Also, a big shout out and thank you to Buzzy Newman, Ray Nix and Andrew Powell for all their help as well!
I’d also like to thank my wonderful husband, Brian. Brian completed the application, spoke to city leaders about the wording in the moratorium and worked diligently to get this approval. I don’t think Brian knew this was on their agenda last night because I’m sure if he knew, he would have been there to speak about it.
Brian – thank you very much for all you do!
Thanks for joining our journey!
