Just one more reason to love downtown Henderson, the 3rd Annual Diversity Parade made it’s way right past our shop. I sat up chairs on the sidewalk and we had quite a diverse group of spectators take advantage of the seating. A small group of ladies from Colonial Assisted Living, an elderly gentleman and his kids and grandkids, and several other little families. Some of our local school cheer leading squads, church groups, politicians, Police and Fire Departments, etc., joined acts from all over the country. Included was the Jesse White Tumblers out of Chicago, South Shore Drill Team (also from Chicago), and The Lion Dancers. There were also a few marching bands, and one lone clown.
Anyway, I love a parade and this one did not disappoint. I hope you like my pics.
