I don’t think we’ve mentioned it, but in addition to selling antiques and collectibles in our shop, we carry a line of CBD products. CBD, or Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring cannabinoid constituent of cannabis. In this case, industrial cannanabis or hemp. Industrial hemp, by definition contains less than 0.3% THC, which means you can’t get high on it. It’s medical benefits, though are wonderful. I have customers using it for everything from anxiety, depression, arthritis, fibromyalgia, Chrohn’s Disease, Parkinson’s, autism, ADHD, epilepsy, cancer, and the list goes on. I use it for pain.
We get our CBD products (oils and salves) from Paul and Donna Glover at N E Farms in Hawesville, KY. Their product is called Mile Marker 5. It’s one of the best and I am living proof. Normally, after doing all the lifting and carrying heavy items and sanding the 6500+ square feet of floor and climbing up and down the stairs, sometimes up to 45 or more trips, I’d be in a lot of pain. But, I take CBD first thing in the morning and right before bedtime and my pain is minimal. I used to pop Ibuprofin 2 or 3 times a day. I haven’t had one since December of last year when I started using CBD.
I’m not writing this as a commercial, rather as part of our story. Strenuous activity of any sort usually causes pain and I’m just happy that mine is manageable. So, again, I’ll shout it. Thank God for CBD!!
